As a horse owner, I have a deep appreciation for these beautiful and powerful creatures.  I enjoy painting horse portraits within dynamic natural settings.  My animal artwork reflects the "spirit" of the animal. Whether the animal is in a serene setting, in action, or observing their surroundings, they are truly one with nature. Basically, "they know". My portraits can also include the body of the horse, a difficult artistic task that isn't always offered elsewhere.
